Bunny Bonnet made with Hobby Lobby Yarn Bee Tender Touch yarn

After a spontaneous trip to Hobby Lobby, looking for some yarn in this year’s Color of the Year (fail) I couldn’t resist picking this yarn up just to feel it. It was so soft and furry, all I could think of was bunnies. Yes, Lapaki means ‘Rabbit’ in Hawaiian.

So I embarked on a journey to do a bunny hat that I have been wanting to try for a few years now. Well, it turned into a bonnet! I love the big, floppy ears and though I do wish I had a baby model for you, my baby hat stand will have to do!

These work up fairly quickly and even for me, who hates the sewing part of crochet….this isn’t so bad! They’re so cute!!!! Luckily, the pattern is ready just before April and in time for Easter!

These are made with Yarn Bee Tender Touch yarn, 100% acrylic and I would have LOVED to have my baby photographed in one of these!!!!

You can get the pattern HERE and make up as many as you need before the holiday! The pattern includes sizes from 0-3 months to 1-2 years (Toddler)

Enjoy making these soft, cuddly bunnies and have a wonderful Spring!!!!

Happy Hooking, Hookers!
