I included this pattern in my Mother’s Day Blog and loved these so much that I made a pair for my own mother. I chose to use Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Cotton yarn and an I (5.50 mm) hook, so I adjusted the pattern a bit for gauge. It’s not hard to do at all if you try them on as you work.

The only stitches you need to know are a magic ring, slip stitch and double crochet. Very easy! They can be decorated however you choose with flowers or embroidery. I chose the swirls since my mom isn’t super girly; she loves them!
The pattern includes a link to how to make the swirls as well. I adjusted mine with half double crochets and reduced my beginning chain to 31 stitches since they wind up being a bit large if you make them as the pattern says with the larger hook and yarn.
This is a well-written pattern, easy to follow and just look at these sweeties! You won’t be sorry.
Head on over HERE to get the slippers pattern and the tutorial for the swirls! I made these in probable an hour and a half from start to finish, they really do work up quickly!
Enjoy these and Happy Hooking!
