Our first published pattern of 2020! Puka Lou means ‘slipknot’ in Hawaiian … the closest thing I could come up with to describe this cutie.

These yarns showcase stitches so well and have a sturdy weight, they’re perfect for these bags! If you have any in your stash, this is the perfect use for it.  We have also had success with Lion Brand Rewind as well.  We’ve seen these bags on fashion runways and we couldn’t resist trying our hand at it!

Works up very quickly, beginner stitches and a nice, simple introduction to sewing on straps.
