2023 Autumn Crochet Round Up!

It’s our season, hookers! I just broke out my hooks and yarn after a long summer of gardening and I am ready to get back into the groove! This year I need some inspiration, so I went hunting for new patterns and ideas to freshen up my perspective and get my creative juices flowing. You guessed it, I’m sharing what I found with you here!

1.) First, let’s talk about gorgeous yarn 🙂 Not only do I love the name of this yarn by Arcane Fibre Works, “Easy Breezy Beautiful Cover Squirrel” because it’s beyond fabulous, but the colors bring in such a fall vibe for me that I just can’t get over it! This is available in 4 different weights from fingering to bulky and priced reasonably! I know exactly which pom in our collection I want to pair it with as well! Head on over, snag yours, and check out all of the new colorways! You won’t be sorry.

2.) Scarves are paramount this time of year; they just make the outfit! I know it’s easy to just whip one out with no real plan (I do it all the time) but sometimes you just want something a bit more structured and nice looking. This scarf is it! I love the color combination possibilities and my customers would love the look of this beauty. I need this one in my collection and so do you! Go check it out 🙂

3.) Every year my fingerless gloves are my best seller, hands down. I can’t put them out fast enough, they snatch them up too quickly! Which reminded me that I need to get hooking and make more, BUT ….. a new pattern never hurt a hooker, right? 🙂 So this is a new one I want to try! Simple, clean, and everyone loves buttons! It’s a free pattern, what are you waiting for!? Click the photo to get there.

4.) Okay, now sometimes you just want to sit and watch the leaves fall with a cup of coffee and the silence. If you’re like me, this means crocheting something as well. Our hands are never idle, am I right!? For those ambitious weekends where you commit 2 or 3 days to one project to make something more sophisticated or maybe a special something for yourself ….. this girl. The stitches, the textures, the colors …. I want to eat it! Bookmarking this one because I can’t stop thinking about it. I’m not usually one to work with DK weight but this shawl could convert me! Come check it out!

5.) There is nothing like a beautiful Autumn drive, right? Maybe to the apple orchard or into the hills where the leaves are changing …. wherever you’re adventuring to, taking in the views, snapping photos of beautiful scenery ….. let it inspire your crochet! I have come up with some of the most gorgeous ideas using this color palette generator and you can do it right on your phone, in the middle of the yarn shop! Just upload your scenic photo, drag your finger to the sample area, select how many colors you want and POW! You have the color palette for your project. Makes you feel warm and fuzzy, doesn’t it? Click my example to the right to start your own palette!

6.) Every year these cardigans are a huge hit at the shows! I make the toddler sizes and parents love them! And yes, they ask if I make them in their size! Luckily, this amazing free pattern has sizes 0 to 28W !!!!! It’s amazing. I don’t have the attention span to make an adult size but I know so many of you out there DO! You should definitely have this one on your radar. Click the photo to experience this incredible pattern!!!!! Give her some love!

7.) I am dangerously low in ear warmers; I had no idea I sold so many last year!!!! It’s a good problem to have, but now I need some fresh stock and this pattern is speaking to me! My customers love texture, so I am going to give this one a go and I think you should make up a batch too! Free patterns, we love them!

8.) These pillow covers are so perfect! I know a couple of people who would love these as gifts! Also, if you want a good, Fall vibe around the house – these would definitely do it! Cuddling up with what is essentially a warm sweater!? Yes, please. Free pattern and the link should take you directly to the online .pdf file!

9.) These little pumpkins are the greatest! I saw someone who had used some thicker variegated yarn and a wine cork for the stem – it was magical! I don’t make the pumpkins, but I know so many of you out there do and they’re popular, so I felt I had to include one 🙂 It’s a free pattern, though I had to fight through quite a few ads to read it. May the odds be ever in your favor!

10.) I absolutely adore this pattern! As someone who still has so much of these yarns in my stash, I can’t wait to break out my hooks and dig into some of these! This is definitely one my customers will adore!!!! Who’s with me!?

And not one hat pattern! Aren’t you proud of me!? No matter what your favorite crochet items are, no matter how you hold your hook, this is our season and we are now the rock stars up to bat for the crafting world! Let’s show them the amazing things we can do!!!!

Happy Hooking, Hookers!
