I want to share my favorite online patterns with you all and let you know what is out there when you aren’t doing pattern writing of your own or in a place to come up with new things on your own. In my Crochet Circle on Facebook, we will do occasional crochet-alongs (CALs) that will feature patterns online, which I find to be a great way to involve everyone in exploring and testing these patterns for ourselves. Each month I will also choose a pattern I have worked with, review it for you here on the blog, show you my own creations with it, and give you some inspiration!

When I first began crocheting items to sell at craft fairs, I relied heavily on free online patterns! I couldn’t afford to purchase patterns made by others at that time and this is a huge reason that I still, and always will, put free patterns here on the blog. It’s important to share our craft and we all deserve to be able to try new things and to make beautiful things.

If you’re just starting out crocheting, some of the lingo and stitches we talk about can seem foreign and intimidating and I know sometimes you feel like you’ll never get there and you’ll never be able to create something stunning. Trust me when I say that’s not true at all! You’ll get there…in your own time.

Today I want to share a pattern with you that I came across in the beginning of my maker journey that still continues to be one of my best sellers, most fun to work up and most versatile pieces I have had the pleasure of creating. This pattern can change your maker life! I am sharing some photos of my own versions of this pattern here for you while you read.

This, my friends is the Artfully Simple Infinity Scarf. I came across the Moogly Blog early in this maker life and I am so thankful that I did! I love her items and this scarf in particular is near and dear to my heart.

Not only is it the perfect project to work up using Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable yarn, the design is brilliant and simple. Even beginners enjoy making these up!

I haven’t even told you the best part about this pattern yet! It is so forgiving that you could make a mistake in EVERY row of this scarf and no one would ever notice when it’s finished. The instructions are explained so well and in such detail that you will feel 100% confident working on this project.

The scarf is so versatile, as you can see on the pattern post, and my customers love them! I have worked this pattern with other yarns as well and it turns out beautifully. I highly recommend this pattern, no matter what level you are at. You will love it, I promise!!!!

Head on over to Moogly Blog and bookmark this scarf page! You just may need it for years to come….

Happy Hooking, Hookers!
