Exploring their website was a first for me as I’ve never ordered their yarns online, I’ve always bought them in the store. Imagine my surprise when I found yarns I’d never seen!!!! At 35% off, I went a little crazy but … my order WITH shipping was under $100 so …. I am pretty proud of myself!
The yarn I am really excited about getting to know is Go For Faux. I have been seeing people use this on projects and just dying to see it in stores …. still haven’t found it. So I ordered some and I am going to ROCK this yarn over the weekend, you guys!!!! I’m beyond excited. Look at this gorgeous stuff!!!!
Now Stitchbird I am fascinated with. It has the same look as one of my favorite Malabrigo yarns but is much simpler…I can’t wait to see how it works up! It’s acrylic and wool and it’s super soft … I have some beanies in mind for this! 🙂
As for Yarnado …. this stuff is fabulous. It’s named after storms and the colors …. you know how I love color changing yarn!!!! I have some 80’s ski caps in mind for this yarn, they will be fabulous!!!!
Last but not least, I had no idea Lion Brand had their own line of superwash Merino wool!!!!! I’m beyond excited to add this to my wool collection!
I also opted to add this tote to my card for just a few dollars …. it’s huge and it holds this entire yarn order, with room for more! There is a zipper pouch to hold a few hooks, a yarn needle and scissors … it’s great for a weekend project bag! The large version seems to be sold out, but the smaller version is still available.
I am very please with my order and I will definitely order through their website again! My order took 1 week to get here, a few items were backordered. But when it did arrive, my order was complete! Be sure to allow for shipping, don’t order in a hurry and you will be very pleased!
